Creative Inspirations: Festive Fun

Hello,

It's time for a new challenge over at Creative Inspirations and this weeks challenge is...

FESTIVE FUN

For my creation this week, i decided to make a mixed media christmas canvas. I've been making canvases for the past few months but this is the first christmas one.
I painted a flat canvas with natural twine, then created a snowflake stencil and sponged around it in white to get the background.
To create the tree, i used panels of christmas papers from Basic Greys 25th &Pine collection, stuck with Modge podge gloss.
To embellish the tree i added small blue beads and rainbow sequins and for the tree topper, a large poinsettia.
I finished with a printed sentiment ' o christmas tree'

Gingerbread Mice

Hello,

Today i have a House Mouse card to share, using one of my favorite HM christmas images.
For my card, i coloured my image in promarkers and added pearl glue to the gingerbread houses' icing.
The image is quite big, so i decided to make a 7x7 card. I used the new Festive Florals papers from Nitwit collections and matted on kraft.
I added twine and a sentiment to finish.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Birthday Bella

Hello,

Today i am sharing a card i made a few weeks ago and have only just got around to putting on my blog.
Im a big Stamping Bella uptown girl fan, and this image has to be my favorite as i use it so often for friends birthdays. This time though, it is not for me to send, it was a commissioned card for a Sister.
I used Nitwit collections Nitwit Thicket range, the perfect collection for autumn, matted on kraft. I coloured my image with Promarkers and stamped the sentiment down the side of my image.
I added cream ribbon and bow, lace, flowers, a large coral pin and pearls to finish.
