Creative Inspirations: seasonal

Hello,
We are back at Creative inspirations after a long summer break and our new challenge is Seasonal.
It can be any season, so something autumny or perhaps your still not over summer!
For mine, I chose Christmas. I'm not really one for making Christmas cards for months, just one now and again but recently I bought some Christmas bestie images so I had to share this one. The Fluffies are some of my favourite images!
I coloured this one with a mix of Promarkers and spectrum noirs and used festive floral papers from Nitwit collections, matted on green mirror card. I finished with a bow, bell and sentiment.

The Paper shelter: Embossing

This week over at The Paper Shelter we have a new challenge and it is the A Teams time to host.
Our challenge theme is embossing of any kind.
I used the new image, Ice Hockey for this little easel.
The paper came from an DIY set of papers from Nitwit collections. I matted everything on red.
The image is coloured with Promarkers. I embossed my panel and strip with a dotty folder and added ribbon to the strip.
I finished with a sentiment.

Josephina

Hello,
This card features the bestie image, Josephina. It's not very often I make a card that is in darker tones or has a steampunk edge but I think this one turned out well.
I coloured my image with Promarkers, then matted on black.
The papers are from M&C collection at The Works, again matted on black. I cut out some butterflies from the pad and added those along with black lace and finished with a sentiment.

Challenges:

Apple Hopper

Hello,
I have something a bit different to share today featuring an image from one of the house mouse decoupage packs.
With it coming to autumn, I thought this was the perfect image, but to brighten it up a little I chose this bright Apple patterned paper.
I kept it simple by adding the matching sentiment.

Whimsy Birthday Penguin

Hello,
Today I have another card to share featuring one of the Penguin images from Whimsy stamps. I LOVE these penguins!
For my card I used Penguin with prezzie, coloured with Promarkers and spectrum noirs.
I chose to make a birthday card, using an older nitwit collections paper pad, all matted on white.
I finished with flowers, ribbon and a sentiment.

Challenges:
This is a difficult one for me as I use a lot of both on my cards. I am an animal lover so a lot of images I use feature animals, seeing as I am known for my cute cards but I also love adding flowers to things, so much so I often have to stop myself from adding them to everything I make!
Based on that, I would say fauna.

Birthday Time!

Hello,
Today I have an easel card to share featuring an image from Di's digi downloads. I coloured this sweet bear and hedgehog image with Promarkers and die cut into a circle.
The papers are from a large 12x12 paper pad I have filled with papers perfect for children.
I kept the card simple, adding ribbon and some tiny buttons for decoration.

I'd like to enter this into:
